SCA Heavy Fighting (Full Armor) and Rapier

Heavy (full armor) and rapier fighting will be demonstrated. All fighting demonstrations will take place on the List Field in the Village.

Tentative Schedule (weather permitting)

bulletSaturday – 11am, 1pm, 4:30pm
bulletSunday – 1pm, 4:30pm
bulletFIGHT THE KNIGHT (opportunity for audience participation will occur throughout the day and after most Heavy demonstrations)

Final fighting demonstration and Fight the Knight times will be posted in the village at the List Field and Troll (Information Booth).

There will be authorizations for fighters - both Heavy and Rapier. Contact the Seneschal/Event Stewart of the Medieval Village- Lord Finnian McFinn (seneschal@weldlake.org) or the Knight Marshal Lord Schwartz Wilhelm (marshall@weldlake.org) for information on fighting demonstration times and related martial activities. Fighters are considered demonstrators, but you must contact the event stewart before the event for parking passes. Medieval Village parking passes are only good for the Grand River entrance (red gate.) IF you want to enter through another gate, you may pay the parking fee and park.
