The Middle Kingdom Equestrian CollegeQuote from the homepage of the website: "The Purpose of the Middle Kingdom Equestrian College is the promotion of both participation in, and study of, equestrian activities and subjects in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), particularly the historical role and utilization of horses and their ilk in the ancient and medieval worlds. While based in the Middle Kingdom, anyone of any realm is welcome to participate in its activities, should they share our desire to study and develop skill in the areas of horsemanship, mounted martial prowess, equine studies, and/or equestrian related arts and sciences, and are willing to abide by our kingdom and college laws." Special Deputy Marshal of Youth Armored CombatQuote from the homepage of the website: The goal of the deputy marshal for youth is to provide fun combat for all ages of youth in the Middle Kingdom. This is to be done through a combination of different types of boffer combat and youth divisions of rapier and armored combat. The goal of all of these will be to prepare the combatant to compete as an adult in both rapier and armored combat. A resource for Women Fighters on the webQuotes from the homepage of the website: This web site came about after both Eichling and Kolfinna were asked to teach about women fighters in the SCA. This web site portrays our feelings, knowledge and insight into this subject. We have enlisted the opinions, comments and stories of other people in the SCA to help expand our understanding of women in this field. This web site started off mostly geared towards female armored combat tournament fighters, however it has grown to encompass melee, rapier and training for men as well. We are not intending to create a household or organization in the SCA, but to hopefully share the knowledge found here with others
