Our Mission

We believe God speaks to us
through the voices of others
in works of
fiction, Biblical commentaries, prayers,
theological treatises, music, and the visual arts.

Therefore,
the mission of the library at OSLC is
to help and encourage individuals and families
to nourish their Christian Faith and Life
by providing material
for guidance and instruction.

The library is open to all in the hope
that the material will
inspire people to ponder, ask questions,
engage in conversation,
and to listen.

Dialog

We believe dialog between library users and the library committee is essential if the library is to meet the needs of our congregation. We therefore urge you to join us in an on-going conversation.

For our part:
  • We will keep you informed about our activities through "Library News" - our on-line news letter accessible from the Library's home page.
  • We will send out emails to all who subscribe, informing them of new acquisitions, new book reviews, and special events related to the library.
  • We will respond to your questions, concerns, and requests.
For your part:
  • Let us hear your questions, concerns, and requests by using the "Contact Us" link above.
