Alaskan fry bread

The photo at left is of fry bread that was made as part of an elementary shcool potlatch in Hoonah, Alaska. I do not know if this item is representative of the Eskimo fry bread called Assaleeak.

Many native American Indians made and enjoyed fry breads, some savory, some sweet. For more about these fry breads, click here.
