Hello, I am Amy Whitmore and I run PJ bunnies out of my Hunterdon County, New Jersey home. I have been raising Lionheads since the summer of 2002. It all started with a pair that I bought for my daughter Paige's
fourth birthday. We all just fell in love with them and had to have more! The rest is history.
I breed Lionhead rabbits exclusively. I wanted to keep our rabbitry small so we could give each bunny personal attention. My daughters and I make sure the kits
are well handled. They are used to children, dogs, and all sorts of commotion. I also try to take the older kits to shows so they will get used to that as well.
Most of our rabbits are housed indoors in our new bunny barn. It is heated in the winter and cooled in the summer so all bunnies are comfortable. We do keep a few of our favorites in the house.

Using mostly purebred and occasionally hybrid stock, I strive to raise Lionheads that fit the standard. I am working not only on great manes, but also on great body type. We finished the 2006 show season in tenth place in the Nation.
It has been a great joy to work with this exciting new breed of rabbits!
