Moving to the U.S. from Japan was a change that was more difficult that we expected. The U.S. that we returned to was not the same U.S. that we left. It had changed. Of course, in the twelve years that we lived in Japan, we may have changed too.
First, I looked and thought about streets. They are spacious. This picture was taken from in front of the house.
While living in Japan for an extended period of time, we worked to keep our family and friends informed of our whereabouts and activities through several means. We started by writing a quarterly newsletter, written by each of us and ended with a brief weekly pictorial. You can read archives of some of the newsletters, titled the JAWbone Journal or scan through pictures of the neighborhood in the Three in Thirty.
Now that we have come back to the United States, we have a new adventure, and more recent friends with whom we would like to share the experience. So, we bring you the Sambyaku Sanjuu.
