Music and art intertwine in my mind. I like the parallels between the visual color spectrum and musical scales; one has tints and shades, the other has high and low octaves. But whereas music with full orchestration is like an oil painting, I favor the sketch-like feel of an acoustic guitar solo or the draftsmanship of a tight pop combo.
