Dedicated to the efforts of Curry Wolfe’s no longer published “Blue
Book”
All the groups listed in the
2001 Blue Book by Curry Wolfe were contacted in 2002. The ones listed are the ones who responded
permitting their information to be included in this tool that I hope will be
utilized in locating a search and support group in your local area as well as a
reference tool for all of those in the adoption community. Since that time, several new listings have
been added. All listings are noted
with the date of update. Those with
no notes are recently added and will be included in the update for 2006.
Starting in 2006, if a listing does not respond to the request for update,
their information will be removed from the PARR Blue Page. Information
will be updated annually. Anyone listed
with invalid emails and disconnected phone numbers have been removed from the
listing.
Each group is noted if they
are a searcher (with or without a fee).
Otherwise, they are a search and support group. Also, please note that ISC stands for
Independent Search Consultant and CI stands for Confidential Intermediary
