What is PARR?

A mutual consent registry serving PA Triad Members.  It is also a FREE computerized system matching persons who desire contact with their next of kin by birth. If you were born in PA, adopted in PA, terminated parental rights in PA or adopted a child in PA, this registry is for you.

Who Can Register

If you are an adult adoptee at least 18 years of age or a birth parent, adoptive parent, birth sibling or birth grand parent you can register with PARR.  Also, one of the following MUST apply: born in PA, terminated parental rights in PA, adoption was finalized in PA, person who is serching lives in PA, or person you are seeking is from PA.

How does PARR Work?

When a registration is received the information is computerized.  If the data matches and if it is determined a relationship exists, both parties will be notified immediately.

How will I know if there is a match?

You or your designated agent will be contacted by phone or mail.  It is important that you notify PARR of any change of name, address or phone number.  Remember that someone could register looking for you at any time in the future.
