I am looking for my brother who was born/adopted in May 1964. He was born in Altoona, PA at the Altoona Hospital, and his birth name was Donald Coldwell. Our mother's name was Carol (Eckhard) Coldwell. It's possible that he was adopted by a family in Philadelphia, but that has not been confirmed. Also not confirmed is a possible adoptee name of Michael. Our Mother is now deceased, and the Father is unknown. My sister and I would love to find him!

I am looking for my birth mother. On my original birth certificate she goes by the name Geisler. the attorney used was Mitchell W. Miller. I was born in 1965. My adoption was final in 1966. I am interested in my medical history for the sake of my own children. The adopton took place in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Adoption searches in PA are difficult. PARR is the only state wide volunteer umbrella registry and support group with state-specific info on how to approach it, along with info specific to all PA counties. In addition to a registry, PARR is a online search and support list for people separated by adoption in PA. Exchange of search tips, legwork, support and adoption related topics are discussed.
