Hey, I saw you guys hiking the PCT. I was one of the kids sledding down that hill. My names Kevin and me and my friend are going to hike that trail from start to finish. But we are going to train first. I think I will do the John Muir Trail before the PCT. Then I want to do the Appalacian Trail. You guys are awesome, could you maybe reccomend a type of Pack to me that is at a good price, thanks. You guys are mountain men and women. Good luck to you. I have been reading up on books about hiking treks on the AT and the PCT. So far I have yet to read one about people actually finishing, or if they have finished, without skipping big parts. (I am sure there are books out there with people actually doing the whole trail, I just haven't had the luck). But anyway, you seemed so POSITIVE in your journal, compared to the negativity I have previosly read. 25 - 30 miles a day, thats awesome!! What an inspiration you two are. I just read all your journals entries yesterday and today. THis is the first journal online I have read, so I am excited to find more. I am a teacher in NC and I am lucky to have summers off to do some section hiking. Last summer I hiked in Adirondacks, summer of 2005 will be a section of the AT, and hopefully 2006 will be the JMT on the PCT!! Karen
