Pack News

The 2005/2006 year promises to be an exciting year for our pack! There are many new faces to welcome and many new things going on! We would like to welcome our new Cubmaster, Brian Hill! We are looking forward to a fun new year!

Our 1st Family Movie Night of the year was a big success! We collected $278 from sales, and donations. Our plan is to donate an even $300 from the Pack. Michael Labrum's employer will match that donation dollar for dollar, so, thanks to everyone's efforts, we will ultimately be able to send $600 to the Red Cross hurricane relief fund.

Our new pumpkin catapult helped to make Pumpkinfest 2005 a success! Launching pumpkins close to 200 feet was a big hit! Thanks to all who helped build the catapult and all who volunteered at Pumpkinfest! We would also like to thank the Kukowski family and the Robson family for the pumpkins and gourds.

We successfully collected lots of canned goods and other foods for our Scouting for Food effort in support of local food banks! Congratulations boys! Now we will be helping other local families in need with 'Baby Bundles'. Just bring items for babies such as wipes, diapers, lotions, formula, etc. to the Tree Lighting on Dec. 9th or to the next pack meeting. Thanks for your efforts!
