PACK 477 Every Cub Scout PACK is broken into separate units called DENS. Each DEN is comprised of cub scouts around the same age or grade. Each year, the cub scouts advance to the next DEN. The larger PACK, generally meets about once a month. All of the cub scouts and their families are welcome at the PACK MEETINGS. Each DEN has separate meetings during the month. DEN meetings concentrate on learning skills and activities. Working on advancement requirements typically happens at DEN meetings. Here are the DENS:
Tigers are the youngest and newest cub scouts (typically first-graders).
Wolves (typically second-graders) work on learning the basic cub scout ideas.
Bears (typically third-graders) do a bit more activities.
Webelos 1st Years (typically fourth-graders) do more advanced activities.
Webelos 2nd Years (typically fifth-graders) are preparing for transitioning to Boy Scouts.
