Camp Each summer (usually in July), graduating Tigers, Wolves and Bears can stay at Kiwanis Scout Camp for the weekend. Each cub scout must have an adult stay the weekend with them. Typically, the cub scouts stay in cabins. In 2005, however, some of the PACK 477 cub scouts stayed in a yurt, a large communal tent that slept about 20 people!
Meals are held in a dining hall, prepared and served by camp staff. Very structured activities are held throughout the weekend. Some of the activities include:

camp is: All Scout Camps require medical and insurance information prior to participating, and Kiwanis Scout Camp is no exception. There is a fee for the weekend. This may change from year-to-year, but the pack has a few fund-raising opportunities throughout the year to defray this cost. All of the coordination of the PACK 477 weekend, however, is coordinated by the pack. More information will be provided to each cub scout at the appropriate time. |
