Scouting For Food
Service Project

Each spring (usually in April), PACK 477 canvases the neighborhood, participating in the Scouting For Food drive.  Our cub scouts will drop off empty bags at each house in the neighborhood.  The following weekend, we patrol the neighborhood and collect any donated food left in the bags.  It's a great way for our cub scouts to learn the value of helping other people.  It also shows our cub scouts that the entire neighborhood can work together to help each other.

Each year, PACK 477 collects several hundred pounds of non-perishable food items for the local food shelf during this drive.

Great Job, PACK 477!!!
