Historical Society for Retina
Cameras
Monthly update on various Retina and Retinette cameras and their production changes
Charter
The Historical Society for Retina Cameras (HSRC) is a not-for profit organization made up of avid collectors of Kodak Retina and Retinette cameras.
Announcements
Each month the Journal of the Historical Society for Retina Cameras will be published and linked to this site. The Journal motto is:
" for the acquisition and dissemination of true, complete and accurate historical information concerning Kodak Retina and Retinette Cameras and their accessories "
This month's journal reviews pre-war Retina I cameras with French made lenses. Nope, none of these lenses have "Angenieux" engraved on them.
These pre-war Retinas with French lenses are rare birds (outside of France).
Patrice-Herve Pont helped me acquire serial number data about lenses manufactured by SOM BERTHIOT and we owe him our heartfelt thanks.
Journal pages can be viewed under the Related links below.
Members of the HSRC are invited to submit comments, suggestions and any criticism concerning HSRC Journals to the email address listed below. They may be published at this web site and will serve to improve HSRC Journals.
