We got together on Friday night at the Quality Inn and Conference Center on the Heron Circle in Spartanburg, for our hospitality room. Deb Womack Hoag made a beautiful cake for us to enjoy. It was in the shape of a book and had the rebel flag on one side and the class of 1972 on the other side. We also had sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc. for everyone to enjoy. We even had a tape from our graduation night to listen to. We finally closed up shop around midnight, and some of us stayed at the hotel, so we could be ready to get thing going the next day.

On Saturday morning, Vic, Deb, Lynn, Ronnie, Shirley and a few others, got together to decorate the convention center, while some of the guys got together and played golf at River Falls.

That night we enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by the hotel and also a DJ from multi media entertainment was on hand for those who wanted to dance. Ric Wilson danced his knee out. (hope you knee is feeling much better Ric) and had to have ice put on it after the dance. Anyway, when everyone started leaving for the night, we went outside with all of the balloons that decorated the room and sang the alma mater and let the balloon go up in the air. What a beautiful site seeing all of the red, blue and gray balloons floating up in the sky.

We also watched a video that Shirley Henderson had put together earlier in the day. The video includes pictures from our high school days, 10 yr reunion, 20yr reunion, 25yr reunion and our 30th reunion. Music is "Old time Rock and Roll Music", "Rebel Rouser", "Let it Be" and a surprise for the 30th reunion. If you did not purchase a video and you are interested in one, email Shirley White Henderson and she will tell you about it.
