EVPs

Hello there! Well, here they are...our EVPs! Electronic Voice Phenomena is a fancy term we use that simply means that we get ghostly voices on tape. They may have been captured on regular cassette, on micro-cassette or on those handy digital recorders. In any way, they are voices or noises that were not heard during the time we were recording, nor can they be explained by any normal means... although there are plenty of theories that try! Some of these may be hard to hear. Some are clear as crystal. Keep in mind that while listening to these over and over again, we sometimes have the volume up as high as it can go...which is sometimes the only way these can be heard. (Just be sure to adjust the volume back down after you're done!) There are a few that also require headphones to hear them. We're not sure why, but we hear them clearly this way.

Also, you may hear something completely different from what we have posted on our Answer page. We have no explanation for this, but we know it happens. Even when several people hear an EVP at the same moment, there have been times when all of them have come away with a different impression. When you're done listening through them, be sure to check out the Answer Page to compare your results to ours. We welcome any comments you may have...good or bad. The link below is to an audio clip we recorded at our first investigation of Bolton Mansion. There are no EVPs within this clip, however...IT IS DISTURBING.
The clip is during an EVP session in the attic. Patty is heard speaking, asking about the ghost playing tricks on people. She asks "Can you play a trick on us right now?"
You also hear Kenny speak, noting that his camera is dead, then Diana says "Mine's out too". Patty jokes about "that's not the kind of trick I meant"
Kenny states firmly "Let go of my camera", and then it gets chaotic. At approximately 41 seconds into the clip, a strange noise is heard. This is Patty, as she tries to breathe.
The next 35 seconds are disturbing to listen to, as Patty fights to get some air. Finally, it's gone.
This clip is posted with Patty permission, to show that there can be dangers associated with this hobby. Although, we do not believe that the attack was deliberately meant to threaten her life, we do believe that it was an attack none-the-less. This is her description (taken from her case report)- "It grabbed my throat and pushed hard. It felt like it was choking me. The pressure was so hard on my neck, that it pushed me back. It squeezed my throat very hard. Then it released me. I felt like it was standing there with its arms crossed laughing at me. Kind of like, "Ha ha I got you!" It was very vengeful, mean, cruel, etc."

Bucks County Private Residence

The Bucks County Private Residence EVPs were all obtained in one session. The private home still has part of the underground railroad, which is where these took place. You will need the use of Headphones to hear a few of these.	Bucks County Private Residence 1 You'll hear Kenny ask "Are you with your families or are ya by yourself?". The response is just after he stops speaking and low...you may need headphones to hear it.	Bucks County Private Residence 2 Another investigator wants to pass the Questions to Jen, by saying "What about you Jen, do you have any questions?" The response is actually over her voice.
Bucks County Private Residence 3 Kenny asks "Were there enough of you, could you just overpower them?" This is another response that comes over his voice.	Bucks County Private Residence 4 This was a sound captured without a question being asked. Some of us are hearing a noise, others here a girl's voice, though not what is being said.	Bucks County Private Residence 5 Kenny asks "Why did ya hide?" Listen for the response just after...it's low, so headphones may help.

Gettysburg Area

Elizabeth Thorn Statue, Gettysburg
This EVP was obtained in the Evergreen Cemetery, just inside the gates, by the statue of Elizabeth Thorn. Kay asks "Would you like to give some kind of message?" This response is a few seconds later.

Gettysburg Barn
This was taken by Kay, who will be heading up our Gettysburg chapter. She investigated an old barn within the town, which shows promise of activity.

The Church in New Jersey

Ready Eddie This was taken during a recording session at the Church in NJ. Donna says "Ready Eddie", Diana says "Got it" and Kenny speak in the background. Listen for the whisper under all of it.	Favorite Color 3 Again Patty asks her favorite question, which seems to be popular among the spirits!	Face The Back This EVP was captured at our infamous church in New Jersey. It was before anyone started asking questions.
Favorite Color 2 Here, you'll hear Patty ask "What's my favorite color?"	Is that ok? This EVP actually displays two separate voices. One is in answer to Patty asking is it's Ok if we leave and come back later, while the other is a very angry sounding voice. We have yet to figure out the whole thing.	Talking with us This EVP was recorded along with "Come back again". Patty asks "Do you like talking with us?"
The Growl 2 Taken at the Church in New Jersey during our 4th session.	With You Patty asks the question "Is there anyone here with you?" The answer is quick.	Favorite color During one of Patty's sessions, she asked What the entity's favorite color was? They told us! You'll hear Patty's voice and then the response.
Is that alright? In this recording, Patty A. was asking questions. She was ending the Q&A session when we got this EVP. You'll hear Patty ask "Is that alright?" then a response.	Eye Color This was captured by Bob R. while Patty was asking questions. The question you'll hear Patty ask is "What color are your eyes?"	Tell us something In the same session as above, Patty asked if the entity wanted to tell us something. She was seeing if there might be some kind of reason the entity stayed behind. You'll hear Patty's voice then a response.
Come back again This was recorded just after "Talking with us". Patty asks "Can we all come back here again?"	Get our attention This is an interesting one because we were not actively looking for a response. We were actually discussing our next move when it seems an entity wanted to get our attention. You'll have to wait to see the answer on the Answer page!	How old are you? This next one is one of our favorites. It features Bob R. asking the question "How old are you?"

Did you work here?
This was captured at a former
funeral home. KennyB. asks "Did
you use to work here?"

Kenny asks if we got too close to the other side.
