PIRA's objective

We here at PIRA have three objectives;

1 - To investigate and research claims of paranormal activity through the use of
Common Sense and Critical Thinking, applying knowledge and science
to understand the causes of the activity being experienced.

2 - To study, experiment and test any and all procedures, abilities, evidence and
devices that claim to capture or communicate with entities.

3 - To educate the public, so that they may be more informed when dealing with evidence,
devices and people that make erroneous or false claims.

We are a fact-finding, evidence-collecting, critical thinking, common-sense using team trying to understand the paranormal through equipment and research in the sciences. We do not use those who claim to be psychics, as this is just as unproven as paranormal activity.

We are not scientists. We are normal, everyday people from various backgrounds who are doing our best to learn what we can about this strange phenomenon.

Our organization takes a very serious look at all evidence.
This means ours, yours and that which is displayed on other sites, Television Programs and Documentaries. We believe in promoting the truth, not propaganda. If you send us
evidence to review, we'll give you an honest answer. (This may include answers that you
don't want to hear) We are not in the game of telling you want you'd like to hear, we'll tell
you what we think...and exactly why we think the way we do. Please, never hesitate to ask or
question our ideas. We are human, so we are sometimes wrong.

Portal Options		BOOK SIGNING JULY 4, 2009 Ken Biddle will be taking part in a Book Signing at Mark Nesbitt's Ghosts of Gettysburg store. Kenny will be on hand to sign copies of his book "Orbs or Dust; A Practical Guide to False Positive Evidence". Signing will take place from 7 PM to 10 PM inside the store. Come on out for the weekend and stop by! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FORT MIFFLIN EVENT September 5, 2009 4 PM - 2 AM The next PARA event at Fort Mifflin in association with PARA-X radio. Currently scheduled: Shannon and Jeff Sylvia will be there. We will be auctioning off a private investigation with them. There will be a new interactive history of the fort presentation at each of the buildings Tommy and Dave Jones from PARA-X Radio - will be broadcasting live from the fort. Photographer Paul Michael Kane will return with some of his greatest photos on display and for sale. There will an EVP lab - Listen to EVP's captured at Fort Mifflin. CD's may be available for purchase at the event!! There will be a photography lab - Learn proper spirit photography from some of the very best in the field!!
