Report of Events;

      The night started off with everyone getting familiar with his or her equipment, then getting a tour of the building from the owners.During this tour, Steve kept getting the uncomfortable feeling someone was watching him from one of the side rooms in the Bell tower. When we toured the second floor, Steve again had an odd feeling like someone was standing in the corner watching him and wondering what we were doing there. This was in the corner when you first go upstairs from the lobby and just behind the door at the top of the stairs.
      Once all was ready, Kenny asked the group to go explore the church while he sat and interviewed the owners. Kenny, Donna and Bob had been here once before and it was time to exchange information. During the interview it was found the many of our experiences matched those that the owners have had over the years. When the interview had concluded, Kenny joined the others.
      The first part of the investigation was held in the basement. We took numerous pictures without any positive results, which is kinda odd since it's a dirt floor. We didn't even get any false-positive results from dust. When the whole group was present, we began by doing recordings while Kenny asked questions. There was one possible EVP caught, that when we questioned as to whether or not they (the ghosts) knew who the president was, the reply was "No". Other than this, there was not much else to report in the basement.
      We next focused our investigation in the smaller area of the church. (The church is divided into two sections, the larger is about two-thirds of the building, while the smaller section is one-third) We started off by sitting quietly for approx. 15 minutes while recording and taking photos. Donna, Bob, Patty and Steven were up on a narrow balcony, while Kenny and Dan stayed below on the main floor. We did capture some orbs on film, but they are suspect due to the amount of dust that was present in the smaller area.
      During the 15 minutes of silence, Kenny was constantly scanning the area with a night-vision scope. On several passes, he thought that he was seeing Dan sitting in a chair not far from him. On closer examination, however, Dan was found to be lying on the floor. When they talked about this, Dan had mentioned that he kept feeling a cold wind that would float from the direction of that chair and go over him.
      In the next 15 minutes, Bob asked numerous questions. While Bob was asking questions on the balcony, Steve constantly felt the need to look into  a room off to the left, expecting to see something. We have affectionatly nicknamed this room, the "Miss Piggy" room. .  There are a couple of possible EVP's. They will need to be evaluated further before making a determination as to whether or not they are genuine. During the questioning phase, Bob felt very warm at one point, as the temperature rose up suddenly. He wanted to ask about a possible fire in that part of the building. He later found out that he was not the only one that felt this way. Patty had also made a comment that it had become very warm suddenly. Also, while the investigation was going on Steve felt very warm and felt like there was no air even though the window in the "Miss Piggy" room was open. This happened twice. Just before we decided to break, Kenny was standing below the others(who were seated on the balcony), discussing what we planned to do next, when he saw a dark figure in the room off to the left. From his angle on the first floor, Kenny only saw what appeared to be a head and the broad shoulders of a man. The figure was standing in the doorway and had moved just enough for Kenny to notice it. As Kenny turned to look directly at it, the figure moved backwards into the room. Kenny told the others what he had just seen. We checked the room out and snapped off some pictures, but saw nothing else. We then took a little break to review what we had.
      During the break, Bob was on the upper left part of the balcony and Patty was on the other side with Steve. Bob started to feel the chills when Patty started screaming. Kenny was on his way down to the main floor and ran down after hearing the scream. Patty was obviously upset about something and it took a few moments to calm her down. After assuring that Patty was OK, we had her give us a detailed description of what caused her to scream. This is an excerpt of that account.
      Patty's account- When the questions were over, Bob went to the right to check something over there. Donna had left and went downstairs. Steve and I were still upstairs in the balcony area. I thought I saw something in the bedroom to my left. Steve shined the flashlight into the room. I then saw a little girl peek out of the left-hand side of the room then run toward the banister. She fell (possibly was pushed) over the banister. I pushed Steve toward the banister to grab her. I turned away because I felt that I was too far away to grab her. I felt absolute panic because I could not save this little girl.

   The description of the girl:(Patty's Account)-She looked to be about eight years old. Light brown hair that hung a little past her shoulder. She had an old fashioned dress with puffed sleeves and a ribbon around the middle of the dress toward the top. She had "Mary Jane" shoes on with white stockings. The dress was dark in color. I couldn't tell what color. She was very cute but seemed very scared. Also, when I saw the little girl. I saw a banister, not what is there now (equipment, wires, etc.). There was a light shining through the window, almost as if it was daytime.
      The rest of us went into the side room. Bob was feeling a strange sensation towards the back of the room, while Dan was feeling chills just inside the doorway, towards the left. This is where Patty had seen the little girl come from. Three things stand out about these last two statements. 1- Dan was not in the same part of the building when Patty had her experience. He actually was not aware of what had happened. He had just decided to come up and see what we were doing. 2- There is only a wall to the left side of the door when you walk inside this room. The wall is approx. 1 to 2 feet from the doorway. We suspect that this room may have been altered in the last few years. 3- This is the same room where Kenny saw the head and shoulders of a figure. Although he is certain that the figure was not of a little girl, it is interesting that we had so much activity centered around this particular room.
      After much discussion and listening to the tapes we decided to configure our questioning towards a little child and to have Patty ask the questions, since she seemed to have a connection with whatever we were encountering. We were able to obtain even more EVPs. They will still need to be evaluated, but it sounds like the little girl is nine years old, with blue eyes and one of her favorite colors is red. We will document the questions and answers further as we evaluate them. All EVPs will be run through programs to take away background noise, so to better determine if the voices are genuine.
      There was another voice found on one of Bob's recordings. Just after we hear the little girl answer Patty, there is a man's voice that cannot be completely made out. We hear "You're a …." We cannot make out the last word due to one of our members had began to speak again. This male voices sounds angry and just not happy with us at all. This is significant because the voices of a little girl and a man coincide with Patty's sighting of the little girl and Kenny's sighting of the dark figure.
      During the night, when Steve walked past the corner  at the top of the stairs on the second floor, he had a horrible feeling. He felt like he couldn't breathe and he was going to cry. He felt like something was coming for him and his first instinct was to run away.
      The remainder of the investigation was concentrated on the side room on the second floor where Patty witnessed this tragic scene with the little girl. Video, audio and still pictures still must be evaluated. We kept up with the questions and around 3:30 called a halt to the investigating for a while. We packed up and left at about 4:30 AM Sunday. as we left, Steve and Dan both felt the need to look up at the stained glass windows. They did not see anything, they just felt compelled to look up.

      Conclusion and Impression; As of this moment, our conclusion is that we were able to encounter paranormal activity which is definitely present within the church. Our initial readings from 2 years ago-when some of us first visited this location- was that the activity was in the larger section of the church. With the results we were able to obtain this visit, we believe that the activity is concentrated in and about the second floor room in the smaller section of the church, the back section.
      My personal impression of the events is that something went on in this church's past that was perhaps covered up. The EVPs we were able to obtain have been ripped apart to determine if they are genuine. As of now, they are the real deal.
      Through research done by Patty and information collected by the owners, we found that the area of the little girl sighting was the children's choir loft. The rooms that were on the other side of the wall, just inside the doorway, used to be a Sunday school. This lends much to Patty's sighting, since now we know that this section had much to do with children. Patty had also mentioned in her description of the little girl that "She was very cute but seemed very scared." Put that together with the dark figure of a man that Kenny saw and the angry male voice we recorded, I begin to see a very disturbing scene take shape. This, of course, is speculation and should be taken as such for now. Further research is being done. Photos will be posted soon. Any updates we get will be found here.
