Report of Events
For this investigation, we decided to spend two sessions split up into 5 teams. This allowed us to cover the majority of the church for about 1.5 hours.
Session 1-
Kenny and Donna in Dressing/Costume Room. We noted a temperature drop of 4 degrees (72 to 68) after we started asking questions. Not a big deal in temp drops, but it was more noticable by feeling it. The air coming from front of dressing room area, where the are no windows or doors..
Note- We had asked the entity to turn off the lights, since we could not find the switch. Nothing happened while we were in there. However, during the next session, Bob and Liz were in this area. Bob left to do something, leaving Liz alone. Liz reported that the lights dimmed in the room momentarily (approx. 40 seconds). Perhaps this was a delayed reaction to our request.
Patty and Steve were on the balcony for the first session. They sat on the floor near the area where the little girl was sighted. This would be the right side of the balcony, when viewing the stage. They took a lot of pictures, due to them hearing footsteps below them on the right hand side of the church. So far, none of the photos have showed any positive results.
Dan and Heather in Ms. Piggy Room- When we started, Heather
kept looking to the left of where a table was. She felt that someone was
there. It wasn't until after she reviewed the video footage that she heard
three footsteps...recorded on the tape. During this session, neither Dan
or Heather had heard anyone walking at all, much less on the second floor
balcony that was outside their door. In addition, the microphone on Heather's
camcorder is not very sensitive at all, which means the cause of the footsteps
would have to be fairly close to be picked up. After about 20 minutes, the
feeling subsided.
Heather started feeling drowsy, but then was
startled awake by the sound of bags moving. There were bags holding a bunch
of stuffed animals in the room. Heather argues that although it's easy to
say she was dreaming, she awoke quickly and witnessed a bag being depressed
by what looked like large hands.
Diana and Mike in the Safe Room- Nothing to report in this area.
Bob and Liz on the 2nd Floor Balcony- Nothing to report in this area.
Session 2
Kenny and Donna at the Girl's Corner of the balcony- Donna
witnessed a shadowy movement by the piano on stage. It only lasted a second
and wasn't seen again. Kenny witnessed, through the use of a night vision
scope, a ball move on the stage. This was a plastic ball about the size of
a basketball. It looked like it was just put down because it was rocking
back and forth, like it was settling.
Suddenly, Patty came out of the Ms. Piggy room,
and stated she had to get out of there. Donna went with Patty down to the
stage area. Steve walked over to Kenny and explained what had happened. He
stated that Patty felt that something was going to come in and she didn't
think they were going to be able to get out. Steve had asked if she thought
he (Steve) would be able to stop it…Patty said "No".
This perked my interest, so I made Steve follow
me back into the Piggy Room. We set up our cameras about ¾ the way in
the room. Steve took several reference photos of the area. Patty and Donna
set up down on the stage. We extended the session for another 15-20 minutes
to compensate the switch in the two teams. Nothing worth noting happened,
so we thought. We reviewed the photos that Steve and I took. We noted that
the "famous" Ms. Piggy puppet had changed position, not an inch or two…but
a 90 degree turn.
After this session, the team gathered in the
stage area to discuss the events so far. There was some activity noted by
the other teams, but it was decided that we would attempt to give the entity
something to play with. We set up the Ms. Piggy doll, some other stuffed
animals and a few balls in the center of the stage. Three Night Vision video
cameras were set up, on three sides, focused on this area. We conducted a
session with the full team in this area. Nothing to be noted yet, until we
review the footage.
Patty and Steve were in the Miss Piggy Room and Kenny and
Donna were on the balcony. When Patty entered the room, she felt like someone
was in the back of the room. They sat down, and Patty took some reference
photos. Patty and Steve were on the couch by the window. Patty felt like
someone was in the room with them. She also felt like someone was going to
come in the room, and if he did, Patty and Steve wouldn't get out.
So, they left. Patty got to the door and went
to go to the left to leave, but felt she couldn't go any further then just
outside the door. Kenny and Donna asked what had happened, and Steve explained.
Then Patty and Steve went to the right towards Kenny and Donna to leave.
Patty and Donna went outside, while Kenny and Steve went into the Miss Piggy
room.
Dan and Heather in the Safe Room - Nothing happened until the last 15 minutes of this session. heather reports hearing the laughter of a little girl. Heather states that it was coming from the stage part of the church (Alter). Also at this time, she heard footsteps above (which would be in the Ms. Piggy room).
Conclusions;
Kenny
As always, I feel that there are several entities the "reside"
here in this church. We've experienced just about every type of experience
thee IS TO experience here in this church. It has been a wonderful and
informative site. I agree with Patty that the entities here have become very
comfortable with us. They have given us more and more each time we've
visited.
It is with a sad heart that I must say the following...the
church has been sold and we will no longer be able to conduct investigations
there. I would like to thank the (previous) owners for the many years they
allowed us the freedom to explore, document and experiment in the church.
An opportunity like that doesn't come around too often. Thank you, and we'll
miss you guys!
Patty
I feel that there are definitely several entities here. I think
they are now getting comfortable with us, and are more willing to do things
to be noticed. We have captured several EVP's, photos, seen movement, heard
footsteps and voices, and now have had objects move. I think if we could
continue to investigate this church, we would find more evidence that ghosts
do exist.
Steve
I feel that everything that the team as a whole has experience
here, there is definite activity. And unless the activity increases on a
dramatic scale there will be some questions that will never be answered.
Heather
Well, I felt like this time something was very mad that we
were there. I felt at least 2 entities; one I know was an older man and the
other was a little girl. I wish I could have gone there more, however in
some ways I am glad I am not. I kept feeling like something was going to
happen. There are things on my videotape, including an image that seems like
an orb floating by, but I will have to examine it closer.
