Para Sa Bata (For a child) was founded in May 2006 and recognized by the US government as a non-profit organization under 501(c)(3). We are based in New Jersey with chapters from California, Virginia/Maryland and Manila.
This organization was started by Filipino immigrants in New Jersey who want to make a difference in the lives of needy children in the Philippines. Our mission is to help and bring joy to poor, sick, abused or neglected Filipino children by sharing with them clothes, shoes, toys, books, school supplies, baby products and other things that we no longer use but will give the same smile and laughter that we cherished from our own children.
Send us your donations and we will sort, pack and ship them to different charities in the Philippines. Our Manila Chapter will make sure that your generosity will reach out to many of our kababayans in need.
How can you help:
1. Send in-kind donations to our home addresses or drop-off locations. What we need (old or new): clothes (from infant to teens), toys, school supplies, books, baby products, etc.
2. Send monetary donations to be used for buying of new school supplies to be donated and for shipping of boxes if needed. Any amount will truly be appreciated. You may mail checks payable to 'Para Sa Bata' to our home address or donate using your credit card using the Donate logo.
3. Join our annual fundraising events where you get to have fun and help at the same time.
4. Organize your own fundraising event and make Para Sa Bata a recipient.
5. Simply lend a helping hand. Help us organize events, pack boxes or anything you'd like to offer.

ABS-CBN Foundation Bantay-BataBantay Bata 163 is a child welfare program of ABS-CBN Foundation that not only rescues and rehabilitates sick and abused children, but also provides shelter, therapy and quality home care for rescued children until they can be reunited with their families or referred to proper child-caring agencies.
Caritas Manila CARITAS MANILA is the lead Catholic agency for social services and development in the Archdiocese of Manila and a lead provider of technical assistance to social service and development ministries in the five other Metro Manila dioceses.
KIDS Foundation
