This page contains pictures of our "Gypsy Rose", a delightful Chinese Crested puppy. She was born on Feb 12th, 2008 and is a hairy hairless. She is very sweet and loves to play with the poodles...and is very calm with our boys and curious about everything. She has a very sight hound like movement and reminds me of a whippet or greyhound when she plays...also like a sighthound she goes from 100 mph to asleep on the couch within 2 minutes. Play hard and sleep long! look for more pictures of her at play after she settles in more! She is still trying to figure out what my camera is and why I keep following her with it! Chinese Crested are actually related to African Wild dogs and she has a very pack friendly behaviour...she loves to sleep touching either me or one of the poodles and is quick to try to get someone to play with her! I look forward to learning more about the Chinese Crested breed and this certain awesome little girl! I love the way her skin feels, its warm and a bit sticky to the touch...and she loves to be petted so our relationship is going great for both of us!

Gypsy's first day here...she fit right in from the get go and seems VERY relaxed!

Gypsy after her first bubble bath and baby lotion rub down...that bed-time scent seems to work on puppies, too! I use the original Johnson tear-free baby wash and lotion on all my young puppies under 6 weeks old! its great for their skin, doesn't dry their coat out and even if they like it, it doesn't cause tummy upset like some puppy shampoo can. ALWAYS ask your groomer and vet what they recommend to wash and moisturize your puppies skin, and how often to bathe or groom them!After they get their second shot they get a bath with the tear-free lavender scent! They love to have the lotion rubbed on their belly and Gypsy ADORES her full body lotion massage before bed!
