Perhaps you have questions about this 'Christianity' thing... well, you are not alone.
Many have questions but I believe  that there are answers to be found
in the Word of God, the Bible, and in the lives of people just like you
who have taken their troubles to Jesus and asked Him to carry their load.
Do you know what? He did, and He still does.

Questions you may be asking God

'I have done some pretty bad things in my life.
Can Jesus really forgive me and accept me just as I am?'

Matthew 11:28-29
"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
"Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle
and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls."

God's Word promises that ALL who seek after God will find rest in Him.

Romans 3:23
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

You are not alone. There is no one without sin. No one who is better than anyone else.

Mark 2:17
"And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "it is not those who are healthy who need a physician,
but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Jesus came and died for those who needed help
He died for those who needed a Savior.
He died for YOU!

'I don't go to church now, how can God hear me?'

Jeremiah 29:11-14
'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord,
'plans for welfare and not for calamity  to give you a future and a hope.
'Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
'And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart
'And I will be found by you,' declares the Lord,
'and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations
and from all the places where I have driven you,' declares the Lord,
'and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.'

Wherever you are, God will find you. He has PROMISED that
He will bring you back into a right relationship with Him.
All He requires is a change of heart.
From depending on yourself to trusting in His ability to care for you.

'Do I have to give up everything that's fun in life?'

John 10:10
"The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy;
I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly."

Your relationship with Jesus Christ is about Freedom.
It is about Love, it is about having ALL that God intended for us to have and experience.
He promised an ABUNDANT life.

Ephesians 1:3
'Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,'

Jesus wants to give us all the blessing God has planned for us that are stored in heaven.
Our only requirement is a commitment to follow Jesus and be obedient to His Word, the Bible.
It was given not as a restriction or curse  but as a blessing for us to know what is good for us.

'What about the hypocrites in the church?
Can I just do my 'God thing' at home?'

Hebrews 10:24-25
'and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,
not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some,
but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.'

We come together to worship God, to learn about His Word and to encourage one another in church.
That requires our attendance.

Ephesians 4:15-16
'but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him,
who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body,
being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies,
according to the proper working of each individual part,
causes the growth of the body  for the building up of itself in love.'

We were meant to come together, to be the Church of God.
We are all needed if the Church is going to work properly
Quite honestly, the Church needs you and you need the Church!

'What do I have to do to know for certain that God loves me
and that I am going to heaven?'
