• ADDENDUM  -- If you deflect north just into NM on NM 209 Clovis, to NM 469N in Grady to  San Jon, you can pick up US 66 there.  It then parallels I-40 to a bit  west of Santa Rosa, joins I-40 to US 84N and rejoins around Dilia and Anton  Chico (which may not be on regional maps) up to parallel I-25 from a bit  south of Las Vegas (NM, bummer!) to Santa Fe.  After that, it dips  south again -- Darryl Petrak
