Qualities of a Good Team Captain
Posted October 20, 2008
One of the things we as Coaches look for in a Captain is the respect from the players and Coaching Staff. In picking team captains, you must remember that it doesn't always take one person to fill the shoes of a leader. Sometimes, qualities from more that one person are put together to fill the role of a Team Captain. So when choosing your Captains remember that no one person will have all of these qualities, so your selections should be a balance of people who collectively possess these characteristics.
