Meeting Minutes 2-14-2010

 

John called the meeting to order at 3:00 pm – this months meeting was held at Barlees Restaurant on Lake Ballinger. It was good to see Darla Vail and Paul Gadbois back with us and feeling so much better. Sharon Dillon passed out her special, creative Valentine treats to everyone.  Thank you Sharon.

 

Don Dillon gave the Treasurers report.

 

Old Business

 

John thanked everyone who returned the members feedback form that was emailed out this month. The members of the committee will be calling everyone else checking phone numbers, email addresses in addition to members feedback.

 

John also thanked everyone who is helping to find a new place for PSC to meet. Don & Sharon talked with the manager at Crossroads in Millcreek – they have other car clubs that meet there and the food is good (important). Don will see if he can schedule our March meeting there. Pat will notify everyone of the time by email and post the information on the website.  Cherie Dutton suggested Fujis (I hope that is correct!) about a block south of Club Hollywood – they have a meeting room. Joanna Gadbois said Denny’s at 155^th and Aurora has a meeting room that is free.  We may try these other spots at future meetings.

 

New Business

 

Cruises coming up in the near future –

 

The Kitsap Cruisers have invited us on their cruise to Port Townsend March 13^th (Pat will forward the email info.)

 

Mt. Vernon Street Fair & Tulip cruise Saturday April 3d

 

TVCC is going to the Glass Museum Saturday Feb. 20^th – email information was sent.

 

TVCC is sponsoring a whale watching trip May 21^st & 22^nd – email information was sent out.

 

Rick Hancock is checking into the St. Patricks Day Parade.

 

Joanna is going to get an application and information for the Lake City Parade during Seafair which is usually held in late July & early August.

 

Joanna also said we should be saving Teddy Bears again this year for the Christmas Teddy Bear run. She passed around a newsletter from the Everett Eagles thanking everyone (including PSC for their donation of Teddy Bears) for their donations to the Family Holiday Event.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 4:30pm – next months meeting is March 14^th time and place to be decided, watch for information on the Website and the Forum.
