Meeting Minutes 11-09-2009

 

John called the meeting to order at 1:10 pm. Today is the clubs 8th Anniversary!

 

Don Dillon gave the Treasurers report.

 

Old Business

 

Sharon said the scrapbook is “on hold” until after the Holiday season.

 

John gave the last call to buy raffle tickets for the PSC plate by Charlton Glassworks. The drawing will be held at the Christmas Party Sunday December 13th.

 

Pat said the bus to the Leavenworth Christmas Tree Lighting December 12th is full and a “wait list” has been started. If you would like to be placed on the wait list email Pat at patenai@comcast.net or call 206-367-9452. A schedule of events with times will be mailed to everyone who signed up the next week or so – watch for this as an email.

 

John reported on the Pumpkin Bash. Debby Judd suggested since the staff of the Triple XXX is coming in costume, next year we could  have an award for them as well. Pat said there are photos of the Pumpkin Bash  on the website taken by Gary Aldinger.

 

New Business

 

There are some changes to the PSC Christmas Party next month. The party will be held on Sunday December 13th at 4:30 pm at Club Hollywood. Joanna wants all who plan to deliver Teddy Bears to the Arden Nursing Home to meet at Club Hollywood at 2:00 pm, and then we will return to Club Hollywood for the party.

 

John reported in the future Club Hollywood will not be open until 4:00 pm. There was some discussion on if we will continue to meet at Club Hollywood at 4:30 or look for another meeting place. Debby & Tom Judd volunteered the clubhouse in their park. Pat suggested we might meet at member’s homes on some sort of rotation basis. John suggested the club could meet every other month. It was decided to look into the options and decide in January

 

A committee was formed to find ways to increase the active membership. The volunteers for the committee are Debby & Tom Judd, Rick Sepolen, Joanna Gadbois, Sharon & Don Dillon and Darla & George Vail.

 

John adjourned the meeting and the members enjoyed some birthday cake and conversation.

 

Next months meeting is our Christmas Party, Sunday December 13th at Club Hollywood 4:30 pm. Meet at 2:00 pm to participate in the Teddy Bear run.
