Eligibility

To be eligible to participate on the Yorktown Swim & Dive Team, you must:

  1. be a student at Yorktown High School or a student at HB Woodlawn that lives in the Yorktown attendance boundaries,

  2. have a current VHSL Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Physical Examination Form dated May 1, 2007 or later on file in the Activities Office,

  3. complete a Emergency Information Form and turn into the head coach prior to practicing,

  4. complete the Swim/Dive Team Information Form and turn into the head coach,

  5. follow general eligibility guidelines for all sports, 

  6. and follow the Yorktown Academic Eligibility requirements and Yorktown Athletic Code.

Swim meets are not possible without a large number of parent volunteers to run the meet (officials, judges, timers, scorers, etc.).  Have your parents (and interested friends and neighbors) fill out a Parent Volunteer Form (coming soon).
