Yorktown, founded in 1960, is currently a member of the National District in the Northern Region of the Virginia High School League (VHSL). The National District formed in the 1993-94 school year. Prior to that, back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth and Douds and Dolans roamed the pool deck, Yorktown was in the Potomac District. The search for the records of that era continues. Any help is appreciated.
