• 08/2007:  According to the 2006-07 NISCA National Dual Meet Team Rankings, the 2006-2007 Yorktown girls team was the 9th ranked team in the country for their classification (Public Schools, 1401-1900 students).  Read more at the Awards section of the NISCA site.

• 07/23/07:  The two National Records set by the Yorktown Girls swim team at the State Meet are now official and posted on the Records page.

• 06/08/07:  Katy Hinkle recognized by the Better Sports Club of Arlington (Gazette article) with the Sportsmanship award for swimming.  Past winners from Yorktown include Katie Radloff, Laura Rainey, and Ari Molina.

• 04/27/07:  Arlington County Board recognizes the State Champs (Sun-Gazette)

• 04/17/07:  The All Examiner team picked by the DC Examiner includes two Yorktown athletes and the coach.
