Qualifying Time Standards

Region: Time needed to automatically qualify to swim that event at the Northern Region swim meet
(times from 2009-10 dual meets and the National District meet are used) -
State: Time needed to automatically qualify to swim that event at the Virginia State swim meet (pdf version)
(times from the 2009-10 dual meets, the National District meet, and the Northern Region meet are used) - The National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA) awards All-American status to the top 130 times submitted from throughout the country (public and private schools) for each event. These times need to be achieved at the Northern Region or Virginia State meet.
AAC: All-American Consideration, time needed to be considered for high school All-American status
AAA: All-American Automatic, time needed to achieve automatic All-American status
