About
1918
This
is my Grandfather, Fredrich Scholl and his two sons,
Frank & Fred, feeding the chickens at their home
in Snohomish, Washington.
The
Scholls were Germans from Russia. They lived in the
village of Speier. Beresan District, Odessa, Russia
The
Village of Speier Was Dissolved
The
Russian Government dissolved the village of Speier on
March 15, 1944. Those living there at that time were
gathered up and relocated in the Posen District of Poland.
The new name for the now Russian village would be "PESTSCHANYJ
BROD" from then on.
