Howdy Gang:

Well.....The 3.5 - 5.0 hour drive did not seem to scare some of us away. Fortunately, the weather cooperated nicely, and it was just cloudy and humid. Only a slight drizzle for a brief five minutes.

Only 50-100 total folks at the this camping festival - too many other area festivals I suppose. Those that were there did seem to be having a good time. Elise and Scott, Taper Shorty, Tim, Brianne, and Bari were there to represent Juggling Suns.

After some indecision about should the bands even go on, the boys played a fine long set. Eric Gonzalez (from Freudian Slip) was on drumz and did an outstanding job - this guy knew just about every song, all the changes, and was just plain tight (IMNSHO). Perhaps he might begin to see some more time in the regular rotation of drummers? FWIW, Eric is also a really nice guy :)

There was a nice PA setup, and listening to Juggling crank out the tunes in this beautiful little mountain setting was quite a treat. Strong versions of Shelter, a really nice Positively 4th Street, Twilight > Same Thing, and a rollicking Spinsong had the few in attendance dancing up a storm. Another fun show!

Finally getting home at 6:15 am, I could not help but wonder whether or not we're sometimes just a bit crazy following these guys all over the darn country. But then, to see the smile on the faces of the newly abducted, seems to make it all worthwhile.

Another busy week. See ya'll down in Ocean City, Maryland!
