Howdy Gang:
For those that were able to brave the rain, sleet and snow, it was quite a fun time. The band seemed to bounce back quite nicely from last night's late night festivities. These Jersey Shore folks know how to have fun.
There was much rejoicing over the Eagles win in the windy city - the chant of E-A-G-L-E-S could be heard well into the night :)
Strong versions of several songs - the Walrus >> Cold Rain was really sweet, as was the Wading in the Velvet Sea. One More Time included some seemingly accidental tone from Mark's guitar that just had everyone grinning (think underwater midi sound). Another stellar version of Toll Taker and Steppin' Off A Star. Things were rockin' til the last notes with a neat Obsession and Viola Lee Blues.
Mayor Mug made his first trip to the Sawmill, and we had killer birthday cake. Thanks so much to Beth and Al and Brianne and Mark and Gus and Bruce and Ivan for the super fun night!
Tomorrow evening we transform into those cosmic woodworkers :)
