Highlights for me incluced:
Toll Taker - This song continues to get better and better.
Steppin of a Star - One of my favorites. Ivan lays a good beat down for this song.
Obsession - We got this in the first set.
Shelter - Always a favorite
Twilight Dance>Open Road>Into Tomorrow>Twilight Dance - The meat of the show. Just what we all needed.
I thought the show was great last night. It wasn't one of those shows where they played a greatest ever version of a particular song, rather it was a "classic jam band" show.
By Classic, I mean that they played some sweet first set songs and then jammed hard in the second set. Getting an Obsession in the first set was a great prelude to the jams that awaited us in the second set.
The Twilight jam in the second set gave the fans what they came to see. This is what you go to a Juggs show for - to get this kind of playing. This jam really satisfied me for the evening. It was so good that I didn't mind that the band was getting pressure to quit playing at 1:30. By that point I felt like there wasn't anything they could do to top that jam. A quick Box of Rain and 008 was a good way to wrap things up.
