Highlights for me included:
Steppin of a Star > Shelter: We missed a bunch of the songs in the first set, but once this came on I kind of calmed down from the frantic rush to make the show and got into the groove.
Spin Song>Land Down Under>Spin Song: I usually don't care for predicatble segs like this, but it is to the point now where I really want the Land Down Under to come out of Spin Song. It makes the Spin Jam just that much more better.
Jump For Joy: Jim requested this. I love this old Bobby song.
Twilight Dance>Into Tomorrow>Twilight Dance: The whole Twilight sandwhich really depends on the middle song sometimes. Into Tommorrow came out well and this jam rocked.
Viola Lee Blues: Rocking.

Definetly great fun last night in Annapolis. The venue was wonderful even though navigating the colonial town was tricky. the majority of the crowd did not know what they were in for but left quite impressed with the gift they got. After starting off with the basic two song sound check of 3 Bells and All Over Now, Bruce cranked up the energy with a powerful rockin Locomotive Breath. After that came a series of Mark masterpieces, A Place Outside Of Time, Northern Lights with a great transition into Cats. Complete with a Bruce doing Pink Panther rifts at the end. Stepping Off A Star sequed into Shelter with a solid Shelter jam as usual. The wonderful new song See You Again came next. They closed the long set with a Spin Song>LDU>Sping Song. Land Down Under worked well with the virgin crowd.
They did not loose momentum when they returned with When Everyone Knows, love the lyrics to this one, wish I could belt them out with Bruce! The jam flowed into Festival which hit it big with this party town crowd. A really rocking Jump for Joy kept the happiness flowing. Twightlight Dance made me think at first they were going out a little too far for the audience, but with only a brief stint in the weird noise zone they drove into an intense jam, into Into Tomorrow. When they made there way back to Twighlight Dance the crowd gave out an energy release which gave me visions of the same spectacle but in Hampton Col. Didn't stop there Viola-back in '69 Filmore we were. By the time it was all over it was smiles all over the place. The band stole a little time for the shortest One More Time ever! Thanks for the love guys. See the new abductees at Historic Blue Star next week.
