Pretty tight show. We rolled in right at the end of Circle of light, so I had to get the first songs from the crowd.
Taper Tim reported that they broke out an Alligator Jam right before Jumping over Ashes.
For me, I had a hard time getting into the First set. Whenever I come in late to a show, I'm all disoriented and can't get the groove right away.
I dug how they ended the first set with Eclipse. When the band came back for the second set and opened with Comfortably Numb, I was pleasantly surprised. Bruce and Gus are both strong on this Flyod classic. Mark's guitar work during Numb sent chills up my spine and I was totally into the show after that.
Jungle in my Heart had the studio Jungle sounds in the beginning and end. That was pretty neat.
Laced in Silver was the meat and potatoes and corn and gravy and beans and apple pie and sherbert of the show. It was great. Word on the floor was that it clocked in at 23 minutes. The Laced Jam was solid and groovey. This was when the crowd was rocking. Dark Star - Festival got people ready and then Laced totally delivered the goods. This is the Experience that makes you come out week after week.
