Howdy Gang:

An incredible start to the summer jams at Spring Lake Manor. Things started off slowly with about 10 folks in the house, and quickly swelled to nearly 40 in the crowd for the first set. Those that stayed for the second set were treated to some sweet jams with both Billy Hector and Stringbean sitting in with the band. Unfortunately, I had to leave mid-way through the second set, so I might have missed some stellar moments. A truly great version of The Other One was a first set highlight, and the One More Time from set 2 gave me goosebumps. Wish there were tapes of this show, but we'll have to simply enjoy the fond memories!
