Happy Birthday Everyone

Last night was another great night at the XX-roads. Everyone's spirits seemed to be high and there was a lot of good jamming, boogeying, and other recreational activities going on. First set highlights came early in the set as the Steppin' opener segued into a great Fortune Teller that featured a hyperspace jam. What's a hyperspace jam, you ask? Well, take your average space jam and speed it up about 20 times and you have yourself a hyperspace jam. Mountain Marlene brought about 25 sets of feet stompin out on the little makeshift dance floor and Eyes of the World brought out the Deadhead in all of us. Second set had a tasty legalize it with an interesting tease which went into China Cat which in turn went into Open Road, getting everyone excited for the festivities only 8 short days away. The second set was shaping up to be something really special, that is, until Bruce's bass totally crapped out and he had to play the last song with the volume on the amp turned up to 11 (do they even go that high?). Anyway, it was another fun filled night and thanks to Chris and Calley for making the trip with me. See y'all tomorrow night at ARRRRGHHHHH!!!! Schooners.
