1 14-ounce bag caramels 1/2 cup evaporated milk 3/4 cup butter 1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup chopped pecans Chocolate Frosting (recipe below)
Melt caramels, milk, and butter together over low heat, stirring until thoroughly mixed. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans evenly over the baked cake. Pour caramel sauce over that. Top with the remaining cake batter and bake at 350 degrees for another 20 minutes. Frost with chocolate frosting.
Chocolate Frosting
6 tablespoons milk 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 box powdered sugar
