Potluck Picnic


According to Guinness, The World’s longest consecutive running neighborhood picnic
(Guinness beer, not the record book)


When:  September 10, 2006 @ 2:00 p.m.
Where: South of the Rutherford Pool in Recreation Park
                          (call 483-5688 or 482-5046 in case of rain)
Who: Woods Rd. neighborhood current, former, and prospective residents

You Bring:  A main dish, salad or dessert to pass, your own tableware
We Provide: Refreshments, games for kids, picnic tables, a barbecue grill
You Donate: $5.00/person, $6.00/couple, $8.00/family
                                        (covers picnic costs and the flower fund)

If you wish, please bring something fun, interesting or functional of value and we will auction items to highest bidders
All proceeds will go toward the Rutherford Pool.

The city of Ypsilanti's special event ordinance Section 10-288(c) prohibits the following within the special event area:  dogs (except service dogs), horses, farm animals, uncaged domestic animals, snakes, exotic animals, bicycles, skateboards, roller-skates, rollerblades, and glass containers.
