Skaters

Dan Gesmer, Seismic Wheels and Trucks, Geoskate.com. Dan is an amazing skater and industry leader, energetically supporting slalom races and other skateboarding events over several decades. His wheels in particular are heavily favored by the distance skateboarding crowd.

Scott Moore, Subsonicskateboards.com. Custom-made handcrafted longboards from the Pacific Northwest. Scott's been building "long distance" skateboards in early 2000's before the genre had even come alive. He's been busy building boards and skating and racing them over the last decade, and knocked out his first 100-mile ultraskate in 2009.

Michael Stride, octanesport.co.uk. Stridey is not only a strong life-long slalom racer who's placed on the podium worldwide, he's a skateboarding enthusiast who's more recently contributed the world's first CNC-precision trucks specifically designed around LDP (long distance skateboard pumping.)

Khiro Bob, khiroskateboardproducts.com. Khiro Bob has long been supportive of distance, downhill, and slalom events for many devoted years. His products speak for themselves, and have withstood the test of time. His urethane bushings strike a solid balance between performance and longevity.

Mark Groenenboom, gbomblongboards.com. Mark's an engineer that quietly revolutionized the longboard-skateboarding world with a unique adjustable bracket system (patent pending) that results in a lively, fun, and versatile commuting skateboard.

Gareth Roe, roeslalom.com. Since high school days Gareth had been building boards with his buddy Michael Dong. Then he finally put together a few slalom boards during the early 2000 slalom "revival", which were profoundly successful, and the rest is history. In 2006 he pointed his high-performance board buliding skills at long-distance skateboards, creating the 1st ever LDP board to market, the Roe Mermaid. He and his boys have also lost plenty of sleep supporting ultraskating events over the years.

Zak Maytum, Venom bushings. Zak's products are primarily aimed at the downhill and slalom crowd, with high performance bushings that come in a large variety of shapes. Well worth checking out.

Longboard Larry, longboardlarry.net. From humble beginnings, Larry has captured the eyes and feet of skaters worldwide with surf-inspired style and designs that scream old school, yet with construction that holds up to the rigors of worldwide distance skates such as Rob Thomson's round the world trek. The "Walkabout" LDP was one of his first more technically-constructed decks.
