PAVEL'S NUMBERS AND SUCH
A Website Of Interesting But Useless Knowledge
My latest investigation was analyzing my results from playing medium level spider solitaire. I'm now involved in tracking results from the difficult level.
I use a few conventions in this website. First, exponents are indicated by the ^ symbol. So 12 cubed is 12 ^ 3 and X to the fifth power is X ^ 5. Secondly, the conclusion of a proof is indicated by QED, which is an abbreviation of the Latin "Quod Erat Demonstrandum" meaning "which was to be proven".
