Hansen, Idaho Independence Day Parade, 2004
|
Hansen, Idaho is a village about 10 miles north and east of Twin Falls, Idaho. You get there just short
of the eastern bridge crossing the Snake River Gorge. The maternal side of Stacey's family, the Mothersheads, moved
from Kansas to Hansen in 1934, to escape the emerging dustbowl of the Great Plains. They've lived there ever since.
The 2000 Census had Hansen's population at 970 folk. Hansen was founded in 1905.

The parade starts, lead by the flags of the ole US of A and Idaho. |
The lead car was an older LTD. Grand Marshal of the Parade was Jennie Mothershead, Stacey's grandmother! Stacey's Aunt Penny is in the back seat throwing candy to all the kids! |
