HISTORY OF
BOOTH CONSTRUCTION

"Lighthouse" by Myrtle Booth 1996 all rights reserved.
Booth Construction started in August 1978, with Paul Booth
acting as a one man company, mostly installing skylights.
This quickly became boring, and Paul spent much effort
on finding a large project. We built our first architect
designed
home in 1979, hiring a few helpers. We were based out of
Gig Harbor at the time. For the next ten years, we worked
with many architects to build some very interesting projects
for wonderful customers. We learned many different techniques
of building homes this way. In 1984 we moved to Federal
Way.
In 1989, when the speculative home building market became
very good, we built several fine homes for sale in Normandy
Park and Federal Way, WA. These projects went very well
and were also fun, and we learned how different that business
is.
We started to do more remodeling in our mix of jobs as
new
lots became more and more difficult to find in King County.
In 1994 we relocated to Mercer Island, WA because the stock
of homes needing remodeling was good, and the schools were
great.
Since then all of our work has been remodeling projects
designed
by Paul Booth and built on a time plus materials plus fee
basis.
We have found that this is the fairest way for a customer
to recieve quality workmanship.
We are committed to providing professional service
and quality craftmanship for those who want the very best.
