Yellow Aircraft Cap 232 Project

Back in 2001 when I was just getting into R/C I bought the above plane. It has moved from one house to another without much activity other than decommissioning the engine and glueing the wings together.

I decided in September 08 that since electric power systems were becoming more advanced, I would electrify it.

The first piece was buying a sufficiently large (and strong) engine to power a 12lb plane. This is the Hacker A60 series:

Here is a shot of the two batteries that will power it.

Specs: Hacker A60 Outrunner with 90amp ESC. Two 3700mah lipoly (6S) Rhino batteries turning a 20x10 prop.
