For over 12 years Paul Combs has been doing research on the composer and arranger Tadd Dameron. The project has been moving slowly. However, a book is finally in the works and if you wish to contact him about this project click here:pcomb@mediaone.net. Also watch this space.
In addition, as part of the research on the Dameron book, Paul interviewed Walter "Gil" Fuller. This interview has now been transcribed and will be donated to the Institute of Jazz Studies, where it will be available for research.
