Other famous Northwest events included on this page include, the 1964 Christmas Flood, the 1980 St. Helens erumption, the Spring Break Quake (1993) and the floodsof 1995.

The Portland Art Museum show, "Dale Chihuly: The George R. Stroemple Collection & Chihuly Over Venice". The show runs October 25th thru January 18th, 1998. It showcases more than 350 of his masterpieces. This exhibition has drawn record crowds in other cities and everyone expects this to be another blockbuster like Imperial Tombs.
