Our Vision;

We are a collective of theater artists who communicate in many modes,
including monologue/storytelling, dance/movement, puppetry, mixed media, music/voice, improvisational forms and more.

As a premier venue for new solo works and group-created performance, we aim to advance the vision of a thriving new-works scene in the Boston theater.

Our shows are eclectic, typically featuring 5-8 performers. The material is often deliciously risky -- typically presented for the first time, with
artists working the edges of their craft. Historically our main premise
has been to challenge ourselves to work with "the truth".

We usually run one or two shows per month for a set season in a small
theater that has basic light and sound capabilities. We are relatively low tech - i.e., we carry in and carry out anything else we need on the night of the show. We hold one or two "member workshop" evenings per
month to build group cohesion, show our work and get each other's
feedback.

Our ticket prices are kept low in order to be an affordable, attractive venue as well as to encourage the appetite for a kind of "rough and urgent" theater.

We occasionally seek new members through auditions. It is an exciting
opportunity for us to invite new artists to join us as we grow our presence.
