The Performance Cult is the brainchild of Margie Zohn and Joel Gluck. Three years ago (or so) they got this idea to do a show something akin to Los Angeles's Un cabaret. They called up a handful of their performer friends, had a couple of tea chats at Margie's, and Viola, Pcult was born! The concept was quite simple. A show would consist of 8 vignettes each being about 10 min in length. The vignettes would have to be original pieces, never performed before an audience before, and they would have to be based on the truth. That was it. The method of performance did not matter. In fact the more diverse a group of performers we can put into a show the better. We have actors, singers, dancers, musicians, puppeteers, mimes, poets, and many more.
